Back on 6/23 at around the time I started this blog I did a post on the return of Sunny Day Real Estate which can be viewed here. They of course have reunited and are touring this fall. I am heading to Portland's Musicfest NW in two weeks to catch one of their first shows back, and will also be at the Paramount Theater for their first gig in front of the hometown crowd in almost 10 years on October 16th.
To coincide with the reunion, and the recent vinyl craze Sub Pop Records has announced plans to reissue both SDRE's seminal album "Diary", as well as "LP2" on vinyl. The reissues will hit stores September 15th, 2009. Cheers!!
