Three piece instrumental post-metal band Russian Circles has announced a headlining show at Neumos on November 18th. Similar to fellow Chicago residents Pelican, Russian Circles play epic, sprawling music which runs the gamut of heavy discordant metal, to soft delicate passages. They are also known for their energetic live shows to which I can attest to after seeing them in 2008 at Neumos with Daughters and Young Widows. This tour comes in support of their 3rd full length record "Geneva" being released via Suicide Squeeze October 20th. Also on the bill are Louisville's Young Widows, and Seattle's own Helms Alee. Rock!
