0 Local Bands Headlining the Showbox

After receiving the last weeks installment of the Showbox Concert Calendar in my inbox, I noticed some really great news. Two of my favorite Seattle bands have graduated to a much bigger stage, and will be headlining the Showbox at the Market. Helms Alee who very much deserves a larger audience usually plays Seattle's smaller venues like the Comet and Sunset, but will get the opportunity to pack the 1100 person capacity Showbox on September 26th. The Moondoggies however, already impressed last May by selling out The Crocodile; a major accomplishment. They get their chance of infamy on November 28th. Also on The Moondoggies bill are noteworthy locals Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter and Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs.
