Local label Sound Vs. Silence is celebrating the release of their second local music compilation this evening at Neumos. The 16 track compilation features a wide range of styles from a number of popular local acts. The show tonight will showcase half of those artists including Shawn Smith w/ Satchel, Slender Means, With Friends Like These, Super Sonic Soul Pimps, Palmer Electric, Virgin, Michael Vermillion, and Water Fae. The first 100 people through the door tonight will recieve a copy of the compilation for free otherwise it'll be available for $7. From hip-hop to alt-country to big ol' fuzzy guitar rock to the soulful croons of Shawn Smith. This comp has a little something for everyone and tonights show is as jam packed and eclectic a showcase as you might have the opportunity to see outside festival season.
