0 SHOW PREVIEW: Melvins @ Showbox at the Market (Tonight!)

Tonight the Melvins return to Seattle to play not one but two sets at the Showbox at the Market. The band is currently touring in support of their KICK ASS new record “The Bride Screamed Murder” which hit streets back on June 2nd. The new record marks the 3rd consecutive with the Big Business fellas holding down rhythm duties, and sees the band continuing down a more accessible though certainly just as strange path. If the Bonnaroo set that I was front and center for a couple weeks ago is any indication, tonight’s show will surely feature a large amount of material from the last 3 records, but never underestimate Buzz and Dale’s knack for a quirky surprise or two and some deep catalog tracks and covers – cross your fingers for Karp’s “Bacon Industry”. After all, tonight’s set lists are so far a mystery, and anything can happen and probably will.
