2 Sandrider Plays Rare Show This Friday

It's not too often we get the opportunity to take in the sonic magnitude of Seattle's own Sandrider. The trio that includes Jon and Nat from Akimbo and Jesse from The Ruby Doe are sort of an enigma. They come and go as they please, they are picky about show offers and play very few, and their fantastic debut EP is still officially unreleased.

Sandrider played an SRG show last December, played with Brothers of the Sonic Cloth in March at the Comet, and this Friday they join Grenades, Mercy Ties, and Lozen at the Black Lodge as part of the Grenades / Mercy Ties 12" split release party. Only $3 at the door. Probably wise not to miss this one for many reasons, but surely Sandrider will melt your face in the best possible way.

Here's a video of "The Corpse" from the SRG show and a studio version of the same track. Maybe some day we'll get to drop the needle on that record.
