0 TONIGHT! Kinski, Broken Water, Strong Killings, and Mopper at Comet Tavern

This evening, SRG along with Seismic-Sound.com have a killer show for you at the Comet. A real strong four band bill that features Olympia band Broken Water, who are returning to the NW after a long US tour that took them as far as Florida. Broken Water's sound melds the noisiest moments of Sonic Youth, the psychedelic shoegaze of My Bloody Valentine with the undeniable NW influence of hometown bands like Unwound and Sleater-Kinney, and the live result is really quite staggering. The young trio have been making some serious racket in their home town for a few years now, but have only played Seattle a handful of times thus far.

I took it upon myself to make sure Seattle had a date on their tour and in turn built a stellar bill around them that features Seattle psych/fuzz rock luminaries Kinski, savvy punk rockers Strong Killings, and an impressive new Seattle fuzz rock band called Mopper.

Hope to see you out tonight. The show $7 and starts around 9:30pm.
