Princess loosened things up nicely last Saturday as they opened the Black Elk reunion show at the Funhouse. They also just posted a mastered version of "Harsh Magic" on bandcamp, the lead track off their debut release "The Grim Energy" EP.
Damn, that sounds so much better!
Word to wise kids, spend the extra cash for a good mastering job, makes a world of difference. I recommend Ed Brooks at RFI or Levi Sietz at Black Belt. Princess used a friend in Pittsburgh, and in turn they have never sounded better. "The Grim Energy EP" is a stellar debut, and I hope to hear the remaining tracks as booming and chaotic as the newly mastered "Harsh Magic" sounds.
