Since I'm on the topic of kick ass bands performing on late night TV. Here are a couple videos from last nights Alice in Chains peformance on the other Jimmy's late night program. This one has more significance in that I was able to score two tickets for my good buddy Riley and his girlfriend Brynn, who live in Santa Monica.
I just got word that Brynn was given a guiatr pick by Jerry Cantrell, and the two of them were able to rock out pretty close to the stage. The band played a 6 six song set that also included "A Looking in View", and "Rooster". I'm glad they had a good time!
Tonight the band will perform again, but this time it'll be a special intimate acoustic set on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"'s indoor lobby stage. The performance will include one song from new album "Black Gives Way to Blue" and one classic hit. The band has chosen to spotlight new acoustic track, "Your Decision". So tune in!
