On Saturday October 10th some mighty thunder will rumble at the Comet Tavern as Seattle's own Brothers of the Sonic Cloth celebrate the release of their first non-demo recordings to date. Led by one of the greatest heavy music makers to ever walk the Earth Tad Doyle (TAD, Hog Molly), BOTSC which also features Peggy Tull on bass and Aaron Edge (Iamthethorn, Grievous) on drums have been pulverizing minds in Seattle since 2007. The day is almost here when they will finally unleash an undoubtedly massive slab of heavy unto the world in the form of a split limited edition 10" LP, with Seattle secret weapon Mico De Noche.
Brothers of the Sonic Cloth fill Side A with over 12 minutes of epic riffage in the form of “Fires Burn Dim in the Shadows of the Mountain”. Mico De Noche drop two bombs on the B side with “Ganges” and “Misanthrope”. The LP is available for preorder now at taddoyle.com and will surely be for sale at the show on 10/10. Official release date is scheduled for Tuesday October 13th, so look for it in your friendly neighborhood indie record shop as well. When they say limited edition, they mean limited though! There are only 500 copies available, so you had better grab one before they disappear forever.

To reiterate this and a couple other previous SRG posts, the release show is set for 10/10/09 at Seattle’s Comet Tavern. BOTSC and MDN will be joined by Madraso and Portland's Black Elk.
