Another tip of the cap to Donny Anderson for keeping an eye out and bringing this newly announced Haiti benefit to my attention. Mike McCready has called up a talented group of friends including Duff McKagan, Kim Virant, Kim Warnick, Kristen Ward, Mark Pickerel, and Star Anna for a show dubbed "Hootenany for Haiti" taking place February 28th at Showbox at the Market. I'm excited to see Kim Warnick rockin' her bass again. Maybe she'll give ol' Kurt Bloch a call for a one-off partial Fastbacks reunion. What other PJ member(s) might show up as well? Either way it should be a great night again with proceeds going to Partners in Health and their relief efforts in Haiti.
