We at Seattle Rock Guy are expanding our blogging horizons and the means by which we spread great music in new ways in 2010. One of which is with the launch of our weekly podcast series "Rock Guy Cast".I'm totally stoked about Rock Guy Cast Vol. 8. This week we have a guest podcaster. This person is not only a friend of Seattle Rock Guy, but is also the creative and knowledgable podcaster responsible for All That's Sacred - The Unofficial Podcast for the Pearl Jam Fan. For 41 weeks, Donny Anderson has single handedly become a much appreciated and go-to voice in the Pearl Jam community. His weekly podcast is not only well produced, but provides a resource that only someone with the utmost experience, dedication, and insight could provide each week. During those times when I lose track of my favorite band of all time due to covering so many others, I turn to Donny like so many other people to right the ship.
Donny's cast is also a nice change of pace for us as he strays from the usual heavier sounds of Rock Guy Cast for really the first time, though that does not mean Vol. 8 isn't kick ass! I'm glad to give Donny a nice little outlet this week for speaking about some other noteworthy bands that he digs besides the almighty PJ, and I hope he'll come back and guest again soon. Mr. All That's Sacred also provided his awesome signature podcast art as well. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteDonny has a subscription for his great Pearl jam podcast, he only guested here this week unfortunetly. I am looking into setting that up for our weekly Rock Guy Cast. Check back in the coming weeks for updates. Cheers!
