Well, it's the middle of June. Of course you would never know it by looking outside, 'cause it's still fucking rainy and sixty out there. What a load of bullshit! The only way to get clear of getting the shaft by mother nature is by getting out the metal.
And tonight the metal will be in full force at the Comet Tavern. Local heroes Akimbo will prove once again that they are the least appreciated of Seattle's many thunderous acts, Lords will bring their Southern-death-punk to get your heart racing, and the mighty Dog Shredder from Bellingham will um, shred dogs.
Seriously though, all these bands kick ass. Get out of the rain, grab a few shots of whiskey with a Rainier back and let these bands breathe some fuckin' life into this god awful June.
