One word to describe W:D! shows: unpredictable!
Things tend to happen when these dudes take the stage. For example, one might see:
Godzilla terrorizing the audience.
Mark running with scissors.
Some half naked dude jumping on stage.
Glow sticks.
A Big Tom Hanks.
The guys ranting about a mysterious beer.
Engagements. So far, former W:D! and current Manos De Plata guitarist Jake Weller got engaged at a W:D! show and, at W:D!'s latest gig, current guitarist Brooker Baur got engaged.
A video might be shown.
For these reasons, W:D! proves to be a consistent ticket to good times. After debuting their new video "Safe Sex," the guys played an energetic set that definitely rubbed off on the crowd. By show's end, front man Mark Ostler was drenched in sweat with a huge grin on his face. They definitely brought it on this night demonstrating W:D! ain't nothin' to fuck with.
