0 CHBP 2010: The Cha Cha Lineup Rules!
Better late than never I suppose, but if you didn’t get the memo-- the Capitol Hill Block Party announced the Cha Cha Line-up last week and it’s a friggin’ doozy! Good lord*, there are some great local bands scheduled to rock underground this year. Everyone from up and coming ass kickers The Absolute Monarchs and avant-gardists the Constant Lovers to popular local indie rockers Born Anchors and the mighty mind blowers-- Helms Alee. Making the decision to check out this incredibly stellar collection of local talent should be a no brainer, not to mention the Rainier will flow cheap and frosty cold. The Cha Cha line-up is expertly booked by See Me River frontman Kerry Zettle who also happens to work as the sound man in the Seattle hot spot. Last year thanks to his killer line-up I caught The Absolute Monarchs' live debut. Who will be the next big ol’ discovery this year?
