Life gets moving pretty fast sometimes especially in the world of music blogging and SRG. Going out 3-4 nights a week and then finding the time between work and life to record the experiences in blog form can sometimes mean stuff gets lost in the shuffle. Much is the case with my summer excursion to Manchester, TN for Bonnaroo 2010 last June. I managed to hit on the first two days of the festival but as things got busy here at home, photos and thoughts on days 3 and 4 collected dust possibly never to be shared with anyone.
Well, I uncovered the location of my missing stash of photos from the amazing experience, and now feel compelled to share, despite it being a couple months after the fact. So whether you give a rat’s ass or not, here are some photos I took of the mighty ISIS playing at 3:30pm on Saturday of the festival. This is them on the last leg of their existence-- destroying and of course wearing all black even in the sweltering 95 degree heat. Classic. I was lucky enough to briefly meet Aaron and Michael backstage as you will see below. Saturday was also a big day for me because both ISIS and the Melvins as well as Clutch and Gwar all played killer sets. I have few photos of both Clutch and Gwar because I was physically in those late night mosh pits, but for now enjoy this ISIS photo set shot from inside the barricade and....
