1 PHOTOS: SLAYER at Wamu Theater

Last night Seattle finally got its make up date of the "American Carnage Tour" featuring Testament, Megadeth, and fucking SLAYER! My brain is still swimming around in my brain a bit following the show, and my poor ears are still cursing me for abusing them so mightily. No surprise that this was a fucking shredfest with Testament's Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, Dave Mustaine and Chris Broderick, and Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman all in the house and in prime form. Mustaine and Broderick's dueling solos on the "Rust in Peace" material was the highlight of the night, but the baseball bat to the skull thrash of the almighty Slayer was just too brutal to comprehend. Shit, I've seen Slayer 6 times and Megadeth more but these bands never cease to amaze-- like its the first time every single time. Fucking amazing night.
