Before heading out on tour earlier this month, He Whose Ox is Gored released more new music on their bandcamp site. The massive 2 song "Nighshade EP" was recorded by Chris Common at Robert Lang Studios and is now available for FREE download. Last weekend, Ox represented Seattle heavy music at SXSW and is currently working their way through Oregon and will end the trek at the Comet Tavern this Saturday. I'm bummed that their home coming show with Vultures 2012, Great Falls, and Serial Hawk lands on the same night as our Rabbits/Vaz show at Highline. What I'm not bummed about is the increasing number of excellent local shows that keep popping up. I'll never complain about having too many excellent bands or too many awesome shows to attend, despite having to pick and choose once and awhile. Congrats to HWOIG on what sounds like a successful tour thus far.
