0 Lots of music to discover, stream, and download on Bandcamp

The more and more I venture out to Bandcamp the more it has grown on me and become my favorite place to stream new music and my favorite NW bands. It's clean and simple layout provides easy and reliable access to streaming music, excellent embeddable widgets, and digital downloading not mention the oversized artwork and added album info gives people who enjoy sitting down with the liner notes of a recently purchased record, a similar experience. MySpace is dead, Facebook's music player and even the bandprofile app that I am seeing more frequently still seems halfbaked. Don't get me started on ReverbNation, it's cluttered layout provides everything under the kitchen sink including irrelavant statistics and chart postions that mean absolutely nothing. It does provide some interesting and dynamic widgets and you can certainly learn everything you need to know about an artist, but it's overcrowded UI is just trying to do to much. Not a fan.

MySpace is barely holding on for it's life, meanwhile more and more bands and labels are jumping on the bandcamp bandwagon. So if you enjoy finding new music and new bands, it's a good place to start. I get sucked into the Bandcamp wormhole often, lots to discover, stream, and download.
