0 SHOW PREVIEW: Superfan's 30th w/ Thrones, Gypsyhawk, Jr. Worship and More

Chances are you already know Mr. Adam Bass. He's not only one of the friendliest dudes you'll ever meet but the consummate rocker can also be seen at shows around the city almost every night of the week -- he's a warrior. Adam is also a concert booker by trade and for 6 years now he has done an amazing job of providing underground music fans with stellar show after stellar show under the moniker Ladies Choice Productions. He has single handily promoted and built up many, many excellent NW bands, some of whom may not have showed up on people's radars without his help -- he continues the good fight every single day. The man is also an encyclopedia of music knowledge, ranging many genres but certainly metal and heavy music, and his taste is impeccable. It's really rare that you meet someone with the exact same insatiable hungy for music discovery. Adam is one of those dudes and for that I respect him very much.

Today he turns 30 years of age and to celebrate he has booked a beyond killer show at the Funhouse. New Seattle band Wet Nightmare start things off and I'm very much looking forward to checking them out for the first time tonight. Medula Pinata featuring Doug from Madraso debuts tonight, as do the ex-members of Portland's post-punk badassses Prize Country, now known as Jr. Worship. They are followed by the classic metal stylings of Pasedena California's Gypsyhawk, and ending the night on the heaviest of notes is none other than Joe Preston, commonly known as Thrones.

Never dull moment with Ladies Choice. The Funhouse is the place to be tonight, don't miss out!
