0 BUMMER: Consulate Goes on Hiatus, Final Two Shows This Weekend

Heady Seattle trio Consulate are playing what looks to be their two final shows this weekend. Bassist James Gardner is moving away and we wish him well as he begins his teaching career in his home state of Iowa. While we are bummed to hear the news at least they left a small legacy in the form of one of the best local releases of 2011 so far, "Feeding the Ducks".

If you haven't had a chance to check out the record (and you should!) you can stream below and download via consulate.bandcamp.com.

Friday Night:

Consulate joins Tacoma's Argonaut, Machine, and Tallest Tree at Hell's Kitchen

Saturday Night:

Consulate joins Portland band Gaytheist, Monogamy Party,a nd new Seattle band Pouch at the 2 Bit Saloon for the first of 3 August SRG Presents shows.
