The first time I saw Seattle's SEOD at the Sunset I was hooked, they are pure sonic awesomeness for lack of a better phrase right now. They play ear shattering electronic instrumental soundscapes, that are equal parts shoegaze and drone metal. A large part of the SEOD live show is also the visuals, as they include a lighting tech who puts on an amazing light show and floods the venue with smokey ambiance. It's full sensory overlord to say the least! Much of the material was off their album "Dark Signals", and you could tell by the packed crowd they are a local favorite.
