God damn this was good! Easily a major highlight of a night of so many as Shawn Smith, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Duff McKagen, Gary Westlake, Matt Cameron and friends brought Mother Love Bone's best song to life. I got chills! The awesome video below was posted on YouTube by Outlawdigitalmedia.
By the way, what do you notice about the concert info below regarding the just announced Brad/Satchel/Hank Khoir show at the Showbox April 14th? That's right the evening also seems to feature all the remaining members of Mother Love Bone! It just so happens that this show is happening right around the time that would mark the 20 year anniversary of Andrew Wood's death (March 19th, 1990) by overdose thus ending the short life of the band. With Shawn Smith stepping in so amazingly at the Hootenanny, I'm thinking this night could end of being very special indeed. There is a pre-sale for Ten Clubbers, for everyone else tickets go on sale this Friday.
