In regard to Seattle music, Nevermore are the black sheep when it comes to bands who have done well for themselves from our hometown. Despite having released 7 consistently amazing and critically acclaimed full length records over the last 20 years, as well as touring the world promoting them, Nevermore have rarely gotten more than a brief mention in the local weeklies. Go back and listen to "Dreaming Neon Black" and work your way forward to their recently released "The Obsidian Conspiracy" and you'll hear some of the best technical and progressive metal of the time. Nevermore isn't fad metal. They're the real deal.
It's not often the band plays Seattle but on Friday, Sep 24th, Nevermore will headline a night at El Corazon with Warbringer, Blackguard, Hatesphere, Dethmocracy, and After the Fallout. Don't miss this opportunity to see them this time. It will probably be a while before they play here again.
