This weekend the Melvins return to Seattle for their second show in just over a couple months. Buzz, Dale and the Big Business fellas will take over The Crocodile this time, which should be quite a show considering it’ll be a much more intimate Melvins experience than usual. The Melvins are touring in support of one of their most successful records to date, “A Bride Screamed Murder”, and have also booked a number of Western Washington dates with Tacoma, Olympia, and Bellingham all getting shows next week as well.
On their most recent tour the Melvins unveiled a rip roaring cover of Karp’s “Bacon Industry”. Subsequently, it has been the talk of each show they’ve played, mainly because in 2010 Melvins' bassist Jarred Warren’s ex-band has reached legendary status. Hearing live Karp has been basically relegated to crappy YouTube videos, making any chance to see the Melvins scorching rendition live an extremely rare face melting opportunity.
